Somewhere in between dance and theatre, the performers will play out everyday actions, gestures, verbal exchange, and the moments of interaction and dialogue regarding a number of different subjects. Everything will be dissected and reconstructed, so that meaning will be diverted and contextualized in an attempt to suggest a discourse, in fragments, on relationships and human beings, with their weaknesses, desires, tragedies and joys. Such a discourse is at once surreal but very concrete, amusing yet also tragic.
An oneiric part of the piece will also present dance of a more abstract nature, to counterbalance this depiction of reality.
Created back in March 2015, Les Petites Briques (Small Building Blocks) are a series of short pieces for non-theatrical spaces. These pieces formed the first stage of an ongoing project which has now become a staged performance, Pièces : from individual building blocks to a fully built house.
