Dada Masilo’s latest performance, THE SACRIFICE will premiere in 2020 and will be available for touring thereafter. Inspired by Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, Dada Masilo and her dancers are engaging in the study of the dances and rituals of the Tswana people, that are native to the country of Botswana and are unique, rhythmic and expressive; at times used for storytelling and healing.
Dada Masilo says: "Narrative is very important to me. I want to create a story that is deeper than a chosen maiden dancing herself to death."
